Sophia Loren

Sophia Loren's first recording: Mambo Bacan from the movie La Donna Del Fiume (1955).

Sophia Loren - Mambo Bacan

Peter Sellers and Sophia Loren starred together in the 1960's movie The Millionairess.
While working on the film, Sellers fell in love with the great Italian beauty, and eventually left his wife Anne to pursue her; when it became clear that Loren wanted nothing to do with him, Sellers fell into an affair with her stand-in instead.

"Goodness Gracious Me", a duet between Sellers (as an Indian doctor) and Loren (as his patient), was released as a single to publicise the film, and became a chart hit.

This is one of the duos that are more "gracious" to me (in the Spanish sense, 'funny'). Other is "The Lady Loves Me" by Elvis and Ann-Margret.

Thanks for putting my blog in your links, and happy holidays!
