Happy birthday

Today it's Dans Mon Cafe's 1 year birthday.

Please tell me what you would like me to post more of in 2007! Yeye-boys? New French music? 60's club music? Trans-world? Like the long biographies? Don't care about them? Leave a comment!

The girl on the left is Vanessa Paradis.

Hi Sofie
Congratulations on a fab first year you are always a purveyor of fine sounds and long may you continue.
Personally i would welcome some transworld Ye Ye and the 60s club music sounds very interesting to me.
Happy Birhday

Early 60's yéyé stuff is just my thing.
Great post.

Hey Sofie -
Longtime lurker, first-time poster. At least, I think this is my first time posting. Anyway, the Sixties yéyé is always satisfying, but I'm gonna put in a vote for some Sixties club music now and again, as I've not heard enough of that. Apart from that, so far so good!

Hope your New year goes well!

Happy Birthday, Dans Mon Cafe!
It's always a pleasure to visit here.

I would love you still continue 60's yeye, but in addition, Yeye boys would be great!

Yeyeohyeah, you are making me blush! Always nice to see you leaving comments, I defintly continue if you keep leaving awesome comments,he :-)

Davecat, I think there have been one or two comments from you before ;) Sixties club music would be like blow up a gogo I had in my radioblog earlier. Psychedelic and industrial dancing pearls.

Anonymous1, Anonymous2, and Percy, I'll keep that in mind, and thanks!! :-)

suggestions : Alain Bashung, Souchon. Louis Chedid and his son M , Jacques, Duvall, Cali or Charlélie Couture , or the Gainsbourgh soundings of Arthur H .. Arno is always good for a chuckle. Renaud is too rural. Or the Fabulous Trobadors doing French gyspsy music simular to Mano Chao. Or perhaps Idir and cheb Mami, Zahouani, or just Faudel for more spice. I always enjoy your site , Happy Birthday !

Annie Philippe, Sylvie Vartain, Clothilde...
these are the names I noticed on Myspace. have you posted them recently? I'd love to hear some more...
anyway, I think it's safe to rely on your taste on music and the picks - it's been pretty great so far!

so, happy birthday!
and best yeyes from Finland

Biography would be lovely long or short, whatever you can dig up is appreciated. What about Les Surfs and Chantal Kelly?

Personally, i love when you write up long bios and such. I love everything you put up, esp the rare scandanivian and dutch stuffs. I say you keep on doing what you are doing, put up what you like, we are bound to like it. This is a unique blog, keep it up.

'If it's not broken, don't fix it.' Words to live by.

So far you've been spot on. So keep doing what you've been doing; and thanks for all the cool music I didn't know existed!!!

I think you should just keep doing what youre doing. Your choices are always spot on. Myself im always looking for those "lost" France Gall tracks, but I know they'l all come around int ime. The bios are great. Just keep on keeping on
